"Manitoba Scrip." Gail Morin; Quintin Publications. The Manitoba Scrip was issued to all Metis or Half-breeds and all original white settlers. Applications for the land scrip began June 1875 and continued until the early 1880's. This information was extracted from microfilmed copies of the documents. Manitoba Scrip equaled 160 acres. The book is a listing of those who applied for the Scrip and proof they supplied as identification. DF1

"Our 1-6 Heritage." One-six History Book Commitee, 1976. An extensive history of local families including stores, churches, and schools. It includes the school districts of Deer Creek, Linal, Elk Creek and Diamond.

"East Of The Mountains Eden-Birnie Story." Eden Birnie History Book Committee 1984. Wards 2 and 5 of Rural Municipality of Rosedale Manitoba. Includes many pioneer families from Eden and Birnie Manitoba from 1877 to 1984.

General history of the town of Neepawa, Manitoba, plus biographical sketches prepared by family members, including those who owned century farms in the area.
