The Qualicum Beach Family History Society was formed in 2003. The aims of the Society are to  promote the study of family history and genealogy and to provide a forum for its members. Membership and meeting details are given below.

General meetings are held in the meeting room at the rear of the Qualicum Beach branch of The Royal Canadian Legion at 180 E. 1st Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on the third Wednesday of each month at  7:00 p.m. Please note that there will be no meetings in July and August. 

These meetings provide an opportunity for members to learn, exchange information, and participate in social events. 

Speakers on family history subjects are invited to most general meetings. For the program of speakers and workshops see the Upcoming Events page. 

Membership - the Society welcomes new members and the yearly fees are,

Single      $25                    Family      $40

    The Journal of the Qualicum Beach Family History Society is published twice a year. 

    Donations in the form of published genealogical materials or histories of local families will be accepted for the Society's library. See the donations policy on The Library page. Funds to support the library and add to the collection will be gratefully accepted.
