In the Dominion Electoral District of Cariboo-Lillooet, and Provincial of Cariboo, is 55 miles from Quesnelle, situated on the left bank of the Fraser at the lower end of navigation of the Upper Fraser River. Communication by stage with Ashcroft and return from Barkerville. There are telegraph and express post and money order offices with weekly mails.
