I recently was sent a
postcard by a member of the Hartsell family:
These men were sawmill workers in Scott Co.
I now believe these were taken at a fair or some type of tourist trap

My dad, Eugene Snow, was stationed at the P B Arsenal in the late 30s and early 40s. He sent these Postcards to my grandmother, Love Snow Mathis. My Dad and Grandmother are from Berryville, Carroll Co., Arkansas. They are pictures of Simmons National Bank, Hotel Pines, Public Library and the Post Office, all located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

These folks were in Pulaski county. Hopefully someone will know of them. I am sending the picture with the names on the photo. This branch of the Isham's migrated from VA to SC to Georgia to TN to AR. Some of the other siblings moved on to Texas. Which is the case for my Great Grandfather, Henry Henly Isham. He was the oldest of these children; (He is not in the picture)

This picture shows how it has been caving in behind the Court House and Jefferson Hotel.
Where the wood is stacked is right behind the Jefferson Hotel
This is a picture of the back of the Jefferson Hotel and the
Court House before it was caving in really bad.
It is apparently, that this is the island that they blew up to make
the river turn down into East Barraque Street.
More cave in at Jefferson Hotel and Court House at West Barraque Street.
More cave in pictures.
