The Montgomery Genealogical Society,
Inc. (MGS) is a non-profit corporation,
and as such, contributors may claim personal
federal income tax deductions. With the exception
of June, July and August, meetings are on
the second Sunday of each month, with programs
on local and Southern history, genealogy and
culture. Membership costs $20 for individual
members or for a family membership.
Membership includes:

approximately 30 pages, each issue
indexed;
- Free queries in the MGSQ
(non-members,
$5);
- Surname Research Exchange
with MGS members published;
- Back issues of the MGSQ
for $5 per issue;
- Monthly meetings with programs
of genealogical interest;
