St. Bartholomew's is situated on the skyline on the steep edge of Chosen Hill and is of considerable landscape value. The church consists of a nave, chancel, South aisle, North porch, and West tower. The nave is Norman with a Transitional South arcade of four bays with cylindrical piers and moulded capitals supporting chamfered pointed arches. The South doorway is Early English with an inner Norman arch with enrisched chevrons. The tower was built in 1601 and has battlements and finials. The windows generally are Perpendicular or Elizabethan. The font dates back to the 14th Century and consists of an octagonal bowl with panels decorated with shallow trefoil niches with richly crocketed canopies; and a chamfered pedestal with trefoil-headed niches.
