This is a compilation of the names of people who are researching families in Lincoln County, West Virginia. Each person is listed under the particular surname (or group of surnames) they have indicated they are researching and there is a direct link that should bring up your e-mail program when you click on it.

    You will note many of the names have no links to e-mail addresses. That is because the majority of the names and addresses that were on this page when I took over as coordinator were out of date and e-mails to their addresses bounced back to me. There were also a number who did not respond — the e-mails didn't bounce, but might not have ever reached their destination. However, in the hopes those researchers without a link will be reviewing this page or someone recognizes a name of someone listed and contacts them, I have listed the names of personal research, but without an address. PLEASE, if you see your name here without a link, contact me to update your e-mail address. I know I've seen some of you out there on other lists, but it will take time to research and come up with a correct address and I'm hoping you will see this first! Or, if you see a cousin or someone you have corresponded with and there is no link to their name, please contact them and ask them to submit an updated address. I have heard from researchers that information was provided to update addresses and documents were submitted for inclusion, but for whatever reason that didn't happen. I will apologize for that oversight during the past two years and will do my best to correct the situation. And while I will admit I might not always get updates in as fast as some would like, unless there is a problem out there with transmitting e-mails, I will update your e-mail address or make sure your contributions get put on these pages (you will notice lookup volunteers and other pages you might have remembered hae been removed — they will be placed back online as soon as I can verify e-mail addresses).
