Birth and Death records are held at the state level
from July 1907. Before that date, the county auditor holds the registers.
The LDS Family History Library has microfilm copies of the Washington
state birth and death indexes as well as the certificates.
Search under Washington (state) -- Vital Records.
Note: A deligent researcher, Susan Beamer, actually contacted this county
and reported some errors. Pre-1907 birth and death records are held by the
Health Department. There are no records for the 1860's; about 10 for the
1870's and more as you come forward in time. Thanks for checking, Susan,
and letting me know.
Marriage and Divorce records: State office has records from January 1968.
Before that date, county auditors have marriage records and the county clerks have divorce records.
