I am trying to find out if anyone has any knowledge of a large plantation in Spotsylvania county, near Fredericksburg by the name of "Winslow." It was owned by Frederick Augustus WINSTON during the early 1800's. This family of WINSTONS is related to the Winstons of Hanover County; Patrick Henry's mother's family.
If anyone has any information about this old home or knows of any books on the subject of old homes of that area, please let me know.

Looking for information on the parents and siblings of Bazil Gordon KIGER, 1817-1908. The family knows from letters that he at times visited Falmouth/Fredericksburg in the time span 1850-1860. His father, possibly George KIGER, died in May 1857 in Falmouth or Fredericksburg.

Looking for info on family of Jennett STRODE.
He had at least 3 children, Henry, Somerville, and Maria. Somerville's full name was Jane Somerville Strode, who married Robert Evans MITCHELL. Jane was 14 years old in 1850, and not in Fredericksburg by 1860.
Her son Forrest Jay Mitchell was born in Rising Sun, Cecil County, Maryland in 1860.
Any info greatly appreciated!

Looking for any information pertaining to a Roy and Annie PAYNE of Fredericksburg and Falmouth area. I believe they may have been divorced in same area or Stafford County somewhere between 1885 and 1899. Roy Payne moved to Washington D.C. by 1890 and died there in 1925. Any information on their time in Fredericksburg, area, or death of Annie Payne would be much appreciated. Thanks.
