Vital Records prior to 1931 are still housed within the Austin County GenWeb Archives vital records area and are available for you to search.
If the record you are looking for falls within 1931 – 2008 you still have a couple of options available.
1. You can go to the Austin County Clerks web site located HERE for information on how to obtain the record you are searching for. They offer several options.
2. You can request a lookup of the record from a volunteer if one is available for this county.
3. You can also visit the Texas Department of Health Services web site HERE to check their databases and options
