From Tacoma News Tribune -- King County -- May 1913. 

Tacoma, May 19 -- Mrs. Elizabeth Jeffery, age 63, died yesterday morning at her residence, 
405 South 32d street.  She was a widow and a native of England.  Mrs. Jeffery had been a resident 
of Tacoma more than 28 years and was a member of the Episcopal church and the Order of Ben 
Hur.  She is survived by one son, one daughter and one step-son, H. W. Jeffery, a Tacoma business 
man; Mrs. D. Cochran, of Anaconda, Mont., and Edward Frazer of Victoria, B.C.  The remains 
were moved to the  C. C. Mellinger company's to await funeral arrangements.
