This is a partial listing of names and other info found in the book "150 Jahre Schwabensiedlungen in Polen, 1795-1945" (150 Years of Swabian Settlement in Poland 1795-1945) by Otto Heike. Loverkusen 1981.
This list of emigrants from the Egenhausen/Spielberg area were found on "empty" pages of the Egenhausen Taufbuch [Baptism Book], 1668-1775.

The collection includes records of the Kuryer Publishing Company that printed the Polish language daily newspaper, Kuryer Polski, and managed the Kuryer Agency.
The collection possesses valuable genealogical material. The Kuryer Agency's records are primarily correspondence in Polish and English relating to the Agency's efforts in assisting its clients in citizenship matters, transmitting funds to Poland, investing in Polish bonds, purchasing steamship tickets to and from Poland, and obtaining immigration visas for relatives in Poland.
Contains information about people in current and former areas of Poland, including regions now part of the Vilna area of Lithuania, the Grodno area of Belarus, and Volhynia and East Galicia, now parts of the western Ukraine. Entries typically include the name of the business or proprietor, and the address or street name.
The site is in Polish but is not difficult to use. Click on ""Słownika Nazwisk Współcześnie w Polsce Używanych" which is found in boldface in the middle of the text on the page. On the next page type your surname of interest in the text box. If your surname has a diacritical mark, or you think it might, you'll need to use the correct Polish character. Click on Szukaj. Ogólna liczba means "total number of people in the country." This resource referenced the former 49 województwo (1975-1998) so the abbreviations pertain to the wojewódstwo (province) names. The numbers indicate how many people in that woj. (not city) had that surname in 1990.
