York Region Ancestors is published
quarterly for branch members, and contains a wealth of information of interest to
researchers with interests in York County. Articles, research tips, and items of
genealogical interest for York County are welcome for publication. Branch members are
entitled to 2 free queries per year,
at 50 words or less each, plus name and address (please avoid using short forms,
capitalize all surnames, include a date and York County location, and add your OGS and
York Region Branch membership numbers). Articles and queries can be e-mailed to the
Newsletter Editor, and are subject to editorial
discretion. Alternatively, articles and queries from non-members, and branch members who
surpass their two free queries, may be submitted at the rate of $3.00 each (pre-paid) and
snail-mailed to the Newsletter Editor, c/o York Region Branch, OGS, Harding Post Office,
Box 32215, Richmond Hill, ON, Canada L4C 9S3.
