Lanark Society Settlers, Read again on the 3rd November 1836
Read in letter from Alexander McMillan transmitting a Return of Lanark
Society Settlers located by the late
Lanark Settling Department who have performed their Settlement Duty and that
their respective patents may
issue that a number of the Locatees have died Intestate, others have bequeathed
their lots and others have assigned
their lots and requesting instructions thereon. (note: these people are named
in the remarks column)
