NEW - Bicentennial Pioneer Project.
As part of the Licking County's 200th Birthday Celebration (1808-2008), the Licking County Genealogical Society
hopes to identify "Early Pioneers" - households in the time period of 1808-1830.  
There is no fee for this special "Early Pioneer" observation.   Membership in LCGS is not required.

Search several databases with links to the actual images - probably
the most important is the Ohio Death Certificates 1908-1953 database.
1. You will need to install Adobe Flash Player.
Click here or the link on the above web site to install the Adobe Flash Player.
2. After the Flash Player is installed, click on Record Search at the above web site.
3. You will need to Register to use the Record Search. Simply click the Register to use Record Search
link under the "Sign In" button.
4. You will receive a confirmation email in a short while and then be able to use Record Search.
5. Search or Browse Ohio Death Certificates, view, save and/or print
the actual image of the Death Certificate.

NEW - Did you know our own Vera Bagent received the Public Health Guardian Award
from the Licking County Board of Health?
As a volunteer for the Licking County Genealogical Society, Vera took the call asking for a volunteer
to enter birth and death records online. She spent more than 1000 hours entering records that dated back to 1907.
