Welcome to the Lake County OHGenWeb pages!

.

Hi! My name is Cynthia Turk, your volunteer host. I try to make this one-stop-shopping for Lake County, Ohio genealogy. A large number of databases are now available. Some of my favorites include the Pioneer Registry, Biographies, Census, and Vital Records. Databases are being added on a regular basis. In fact, as a spring addition, the Lake County Marriage Index 1840-1915 with over 30,000 entries is found under Vital Records.

It is suggested that you not just use the search engine, but explore each of the areas. Learn about the county and find those misspelled lost relatives. If you have comments or suggestions, or note a broken link, (which will be common now with so many sites moving, please e-mail me.
