Pioneer Attorney and
Public Servant Database

The early government of each county and village was initiated by early pioneer attorneys and justices of the peace, fence-viewers, road surveyors, etc. Law and order was attended to by the first sheriffs and constables, judges and juries. Were your ancestors part of the pioneer governing body? Submissions to this database will allow researchers to track family members to specific locations within a state; and identify those who helped form our villages and counties. Bountiful sources exist in the county and township histories at our local libraries. Please help build this database. Thank you.
