Victory Birdseye House, 7357 Cherry Road, Pompey, 1818

Victory Birdseye, who moved to this area in 1807, built the original part of this bouse in 1818.  The house has changed since it was built and the original style is no longer recognizble.

In 1924, during a visit to Labrador, Birdseye's great-grandson Clarence was inspired to develop the frozen food process now known as Birdseye Frozen Foods.
