ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CHURCH
BUFFALO, NEW YORK
Rev. Eugene Regan selected a site on Abbott Road in the spring of 1920,
when he decided to change the location of All Souls' Church. He erected
a temporary church in which the first Mass was said July 4, 1920.
There was a fine old mansion on the property which served as a rectory.
Father Regan also built a temporary school which served the parish until
the fine new $200,000 school was ready in 1923. He also broke ground
in 1927 for a fine new rectory which was completed in October, 1928.
