JORDAN -- David
Jordan (b. 1897 or 1898 in Russia), his family settled in
South Dakota at some point. His parents names are unknown. Also, apparently
the name "Jordan" was taken when the family came to the US.
He went on to marry Pauline Rohbauck [daughter of Jacob Rohbauch
and Justine Fisher, from South Dakota] (various spellings, incl. Roebuck),
and they settled in Garden county Nebraska. They had five children
incuding Jake (served in Navy WWII), Harry, Roy, Laura, and Lena.
David passed away in 1938, and Pauline died in 1985, after living
in Roscoe, Keith County, Nebraska for several years with her second
husband, Ernie Boyle. David, Pauline, and Ernie are buried at
Ash Hollow Cemetary in Garden County, Nebraska.

KAPS -- I am trying to find information about the Kaps
family who lived in Lisco
Nebraska. Adolph James Kaps was
born in 1878 and immigrated from Germany. He
married Francis Marie Kaps (Weaver also spelled Weber) on 1-11-1905.
They had eleven children most of which should have been born in Lisco
Nebraska. John Kaps who was Adolph's father married Mary Kaps
(Weaver also spelled Weber). Mary Kaps (Weaver) was the sister
of Francis Kaps (Weaver). The Weaver girls father was Joseph
Weaver of Buffalo County Nebraska. Their mother was Katherine
Weaver (Kennedy) also of Buffalo County Nebraska. Any information

| RUSSELL -- An obituary states that my g-g-grandfather,
Arthur Russell, in 1847 started
out from Dubuque, Iowa with some emigrants for Hot Springs, South Dakota.
Traveling my wagon they could go no further so settled in Blue Creek,
what is now known as Garden County, Nebraska. At this point he gave
his 18 year old son who was suffering from rheumatism to Chief Red Cloud
to take on into South Dakota. I am looking for an obituary, death
certificate, anything on Arthur. Can you give me any information

31, 1918 he married Lelia Olive GALLIGAN (adopted BENNETT). in Sidney,
NE. Harrison was the son of Joseph Martin SHELDON and Nellie MASON.
At some point, Harrison and Lelia lived in Morrill Co. NE, because at
