A new exhibit at the Bethel Historical Society
The Saco Museum is one of eleven museums across Maine exhibiting folk art collections simultaneously as part of the Maine Folk Art Trail 2008, a coordinated statewide exhibition. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for people to see some of America’s best folk art and explore various museums and their communities. The Saco Museumis exhibiting items from its collections as well as objects on loan from the Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk and the Portland Fire Museum and yes also three objects from the Androscoggin Historical Society. The Maine Folk Art exhibit will be on display at the Saco Museum through Sunday, September 28, 2008. Little Orphan Joe
