Brief Biography of Our Speaker

Lloyd Hosman has over 30 years experience in research and analysis. In recent years he has been concentrating on family history research, specializing in: IN, OH, KY, VA, WV, NC, SC, TN, & PA. He is an instructor in genealogy at Indiana University and at OASIS and lectures at genealogy workshops on numerous subjects. He is the author of "Newspaper Research" (a genealogy guide), writes a genealogy column in The Indianapois Prime Times, chairs the Genealogy Publications Committee of the Indiana Historical Society and serves on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Indiana State Archives.
