I'm the IDGenWeb volunteer for Blaine County. The
purpose of this page is to provide assistance to those who are researching
their roots and have an interest in Blaine County.
History:
Blaine County was
created in 1895. In the 1880's it was part of Alturas County which
no longer exists. The county seat is Hailey. It consists of the small
communities of Bellevue, Carey, Gannett,
Hailey, Ketchum, Picabo, and Sun Valley.

12 2007 STEVENS I am doing genealogy and need some info. I am searching for info on a Floyd Stevens who was
married to a Letha Muriel Lillibridge, I was
once married to Floyd's son, Larry and we
had two children. Floyd and Letha were
married in Hailey 10-13-1938.I am looking for any
relatives still living that can give me info on the Stevens
family. I would like to be able to
continue this pursuit but need some help.
I'm not sure if Floyd is still living or not, but would like to know
if he has any survivors, where he might be buried and if he remarried
etc. To my recolection I believe he is
also of Cherokee decent, although this might be incorrect.
Thank you - Christie

August 18 2005 BUSHNELL I am looking for information on my
great-great-grandfather, Kit Bushnell,
who married Elva Scarbrough in Blaine County in 1896. Apparently, they had
one child in 1897, Douglas Robert Bushnell, and then Kit died around 1900. I don't know
if Kit is buried in Blaine county or if he was interred
elsewhere (he was born in Iowa). Also, I'm not sure if Kit is his given name or just a
nickname, but it's the name that is found on his and Elva's marriage certificate. Thanks
for any help and information!
