My name is Christine (Soffe) Martin. I am the coordinator for Calhoun county. Even though I do not live in this county, some of my family has come from here. I will do my best to make this site a great place to come share and contribute family information. I hope that everyone will help me in this endeavor by submitting resources.
Calhoun County was created in 1854 from Baker and Early Counties. The County seat is Morgan. Some local towns are Edison, Arlington, Leary, Cordray's Mill, Williamsburg, Moye, Turman, Commissary Hill, Dickey, Bermuda, Holt, Ducker, Gillionville
