Florida Military Census, 1840
This Military Census, apparently taken in 1840, was
discovered among Col. Sanchez' papers.
There is nothing to explain why it was taken, what it was used for, or even
where the men were stationed. It was apparently taken by someone in each
Company; the handwriting and styles are different for each Company and are on
separate pieces of paper.
