CHAPTER INFORMATION
The Colorado Chapter of the Association of
Professional Genealogists (CAPG) was formed in 1991 to promote and
support the
objectives of the Association of Professional Genealogists in the State of
Colorado. CAPG also
provides a
forum for exchange of information and ideas among professional genealogists who
reside in the State
of Colorado.
MEETING
INFORMATION
The Colorado Chapter meets the first Saturday in February, May, August, &
November. Most
of the meetings
are held at the Denver Public Library, Main location, Denver,
Colorado. Occasionally,
meetings are held at
other locations.
Visitors are welcomed.

A.M.- Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2300
South Patton Court (at Iliff Avenue),
Denver, Colorado. The program will
be Certification - Are you ready? Or getting ready? As a follow up
to the
February meeting, a panel of certified members will address their
opinions of what it takes to qualify for
certification, the path they took to
achieve their qualifications, and they will share their experiences of the
process.

A.M.- Colorado Historical Society, 14th &
Sherman, Denver. The program will be
Colorado Historical Society Library, A Researcher's Gem and On The Move. The
speaker will be Rebecca Lintz,
Director of the Stephen
H. Hart Library, Colorado Historical Society. Rebecca will speak about some
of the
unique research tools available in the library; tips on research in the library;
an update on the plans for
the relocation of the Society; and will take the group on a "behind the
scenes" tour.
