Arthur Carr decided to concentrate on the descendants of Robert and Caleb Carr, who left London in the early 17th century and went to Rhode Island via Boston. Female branches are followed for only one generation unless there are cross-links. It has an index, and I will be glad to search and extract or report on who's in it (there are thousands). A set of diaries written by Ella J. Chandler of Princeton, MA in 1870-1874. Numerous mentions of social contacts with residents of Princeton, Sterling, Worcester, Fitchburg, and even some in Charlestown, Acton, and Somerville. I have made an index, and I can search for names or scan specific times. World events are not discussed -- the most remote event mentioned is the Great Fire in Boston in 1872. They settled first in St. Clair County, Michigan, then moved for a short time to Pasadena, California, and finally returned to Michigan and settled in Sanilac County. Descendents of this family can be found in many states, but chiefly in Michigan, Washington, and California. The book also includes the Fürstenau and Lüttkopf family lines. JAM

I have a fairly complete family history up to my wife, Donna Mae Cook. I also have a copy of the diary Mary E. Cook kept while coming up the Missouri River in 1868. She was the mother of Albert Hiram Cook. REM

There are no records of when the first Curtice arrived in America, but they started out in Salem (MA), moving to Southold on Long Island in 1663. Later descendants settled in Southampton and Huntington, Long Island. Others located in Staten Island (NY), Rhode Island, the New York towns of New Windsor, Wayne,Kinderhook, New Lebanon, Urbana and the Connecticut Towns of Canaan, FallsVillage, Hebron, and Falls Village, plus Lanesboro in Massachusetts.
