A. P. Maples to Run for Sheriff of Carroll County Arkansas Green Forest Tribune, Green Forest Arkansas
February 15, 1900We this week present the name of A. P. Maples of Carrollton township to the Democracy of Carroll County, asking them to nominate him for sheriff at the April primary. Perhaps no man in the county is more generally known than Pres. Maples, there fore he needs no introduction form us. While Mr. Maples was unfortunate during his last term with which all are familiar, yet no one doubts his honesty or integrity, and there is hardly a citizen in the country but can refer to a substantial favor rendered them by Mr. Maples, and his friends are found in all political parties. We ask for him your careful consideration.
