Indiana Land Grant Project

Welcome to The American History and Genealogy Project (AHGP), an unincorporated not-for-profit network of independent sites devoted to History & Genealogy, and covering North American Countries and Territories. Indiana is 270 miles long and 140 miles wide. Indiana covers 36,420 square miles, making it the 38th largest in the States.

Land Area: 35,870 square miles.

Water Area: 550 square miles.

Indiana is bordered by Lake Michigan and Michigan on the north, Kentucky on the south, Ohio on the east, Illinois on the west.
