Indiana is 270 miles long and 140 miles wide. Indiana covers 36,420 square miles, making it the 38th largest in the States.
Land Area: 35,870 square miles.
Water Area: 550 square miles.
Indiana is bordered by Lake Michigan and Michigan on the north, Kentucky on the south, Ohio on the east, Illinois on the west.
